So... did you love the game? Why?
Did you hate it? Why?

I loved it too for the same reasons as above, and replay value.

I liked it, didn't love it though. I still prefer Vice City over SA.

There is no reason for hating it. It has the most things to do. It even has the most number of modifications.

This is still my favorite GTA of all time, it pretty much was my ideal sandbox game. It had a plethora of features to it, the mod garages being my favorite of them all. There's just a huge list of what I love about this game, but there'd just be too much to try to put to words.

But with all the features, fun cheats, cars, and weapons that I loved in this game, the true star has to be that map. The map of San Andreas to this day is still my favorite of them all. It may not be very detailed in comparison to what we have available now, but you can still appreciate the variety in terrain and attractions. You got 3 cities with countryside and desert in between that's peppered with many small towns that all have their own unique personality and charm. And a huge mountain that you can climb up and drive off of!

And even though the newer titles blow this game out of the water in terms of graphics, I can still just as easily hop into this game without losing any enjoyment due to its dated appearance. It may not be the prettiest game, but it's still as fun as it was since I first played it nearly 8 years ago. It's a classic for sure.
