Cheat Codes/PhrasesCheat codes phrases are littered throughout the Red Dead Redemption game world.
You'll see them in random places, like carved into a wall, in the newspaper, etc.
You can access the cheat codes in RDR through the options menu.
Enter them EXACTLY as they are. Including commas, apostrophes, etc.
They do not have to be capitalized.
The
cheat phrase is what you enter to unlock the cheat. NOT the name.
Social Club UnlocksSome codes are only accessible through the Rockstar Social Club.

To obtain the cheats you must got to the site (which is above) log in, sync your Ps3/Xbox 360 to the site, and click the treasure chest located on the site.
Important!I've noticed many people have having trouble getting a code to activate. Many people are using the, ` symbol in place of a '
Make sure you are using the apostrophe,
' instead of the accent, `
Once the cheats are entered, they are added to a list and you may toggle them on or off.
Cheats DO in fact disable saving, and trophies/achievements until you reload a previous save.
